Mathematics Masterclass

There is an opportunity for our more able mathematicians to attend a weekend course at Dell Farm, Whipsnade from Friday 26th February to Sunday 28th February. During the weekend the children will carry out enjoyable mathematical tasks with others of similar ability. As the activities are different from last year, those who attended then are welcome to apply again.

The children will learn some new skills but also have an opportunity to apply their knowledge in new situations.

The cost for the weekend will be £51.50 per child. This covers the cost of transport to and from Dell Farm, food and accommodation while there, and a trip to the Zoo. The school meets all other costs. A meeting for parents giving more details will be held on Tuesday 10th November at 7.00pm in the KS1 hall.

Numbers are strictly limited to 40 (20 boys, 20 girls) because of the available accommodation and so if your son / daughter is interested, please send in payment in a sealed envelope, with your child’s name and class on the front Monday 16th November. In the event of oversubscription places will be offered by ballot.
