TOY LIBRARY
3.00pm to 4.30pm in the Family Room
What is a Toy Library?
A Toy Library is a library of toys, books and resources that you can borrow for your child to enjoy. It works in a very similar way to a book library, allowing you to borrow toys for around two weeks.
How does it work?
As with book libraries, Toy Libraries will ask you to join by completing a membership form.
Each time you return a toy, it will be cleaned and checked before being returned to the Toy Library stock for the next child to use.
Toys will be available from age range birth to 11 years.
What are the benefits?
For Parents
Access to a wide range of toys and equipment to cater for all abilities and interest
Discovering appropriate toys for different ages
Gaining an understanding of the role play in your child’s development
For Children
Access to a wide variety of high quality toys
Developing vital skills including interaction
Access to special educational needs toys
